Companies I Admire
Companies considered through a specific choice, useful contribution or distinctive way of doing the work.
Admiration should have a reason.
I am interested in the decisions that make a company recognizable before someone points to the logo. The useful detail may be a maker who stays involved, an unusually clear explanation, a service that respects the customer’s uncertainty or a way of growing that preserves distinct work.
These profiles are appreciations with specific reasons behind them. They move among manufacturers, food businesses, galleries, builders, travel operators, software companies and local institutions. Each deserves its own question. A bakery and an aerospace business should not be pressed into the same lesson.
This is an editorial collection. Inclusion does not imply that a company is a PaperBoat client or endorses my work. For anonymous accounts of engagements I performed, visit Selected Projects.
