A Private Preview: Let the Right People See It First
Invitation copy and private WebAR preview planning generated pre-orders before a limited product line's public announcement.
VIP Strategy Lead & Storyteller
Nationwide / High-Net-Worth Luxury & Bespoke Goods
A private launch still has to explain the product. A smaller audience can increase the importance of the presentation because the business has fewer opportunities to recover from a vague or poorly judged first encounter.
I worked as VIP strategy lead and storyteller for this limited-product preview. I developed the concept for private digital launch events, wrote invitation copy and prepared creative briefs for the WebAR team. The previews generated pre-orders before the public announcement.
An invitation should explain why the moment matters
High-touch language can become remarkably impersonal when it relies on the same promises of rarity and exclusivity. The recipient needs to understand what they are being invited to encounter and why the experience deserves their attention.
My writing work gave the invitation a specific purpose within the launch. The account needed to feel considered without exposing private details or suggesting a relationship that had not been established. A good invitation makes the next step intelligible while leaving the recipient room to decide whether it is relevant.
The preview needed to reveal something useful
A WebAR experience can help a prospective buyer approach a product before a physical encounter. Its value depends on what the presentation allows the person to understand, rather than on the technology's name.
I developed the creative concept and briefs for the specialist team. The narrative and experience direction needed to work together, connecting the visual encounter with the product story. The developers were responsible for implementation; my contribution was to give the build a clear commercial and storytelling purpose.
Privacy was part of the release sequence
A private preview and a public announcement serve different moments in the relationship. The early audience needs an appropriate explanation of what is being offered and how to express interest. The brand also needs a deliberate account of what it is ready to communicate more widely.
The strategy connected those stages. The aim was to make the limited preview feel like a coherent part of the product's introduction, rather than an isolated event followed by a different public story. The private audience encountered the offer before it entered the broader market conversation.
Interest became pre-orders before the announcement
The engagement generated pre-orders for the limited line through the private digital previews.
The emphasis is on the invitation and preview strategy that produced early commitments. The work gave a selective audience enough substance to take the next step without requiring a public campaign first.
