Find What You Need at Paper Boat Media
I have spent literally thousands of hours building this website over the years. It now covers strategy, AI search, SEO, marketing, industries, markets, writing, leadership, technical subjects and a fairly ridiculous number of specialized business problems.
That depth is useful when you want to research. It can be less useful when you simply need an answer. You do not need to know the exact service name, find the perfect page or read half the website before reaching out. Start with what you are trying to figure out.
You should not have to understand my site architecture before I can understand your problem.
Some people arrive knowing they need SEO. Others think they need marketing and discover the real constraint is positioning, sales, technology, leadership, reputation or a confusing market decision upstream from the campaign.
The same is true of geography. A named city page means I have enough experience, relationships or market context to write something useful about that place. It does not mean organizations outside those cities are excluded.
Find the part of the site that matches the question you actually have.
Start with the problem before the service label.
I need to get found.
Organic search, technical SEO, GEO, AEO, AI discovery, entity clarity, content architecture and authority.
AI Search & Organic Growth →I need senior growth leadership.
Positioning, priorities, executive alignment, go-to-market, marketing leadership, teams, agencies and accountable growth systems.
Fractional CMO & Executive Strategy →People do not understand why we matter.
Brand narrative, executive visibility, thought leadership, reputation, storytelling, proof and institutional authority.
Storytelling, Authority & Visibility →I need marketing strategy or execution.
Websites, integrated marketing, content, paid media, social, analytics, conversion and digital systems.
Marketing Services →I need something written or published.
Books, ghostwriting, business writing, technical writing, memoir, speeches, editing and publishing strategy.
Writing & Publishing →I am entering or rethinking a market.
Geography, buyers, competition, positioning, local versus national demand, market entry and expansion strategy.
Markets & Geographic Growth →I need an outside executive perspective.
Boards, CEOs and leadership teams sometimes need a candid person outside the room to pressure-test a decision or think through uncertainty.
Executive Advisor Background →I need a speaker, panelist or expert guest.
Keynotes, panels, podcasts, workshops, expert appearances, technical topics and leadership conversations.
Speaking & Appearances →I do not know what category the problem belongs in.
Good. Tell me what is happening, what you want to happen instead and what you have already tried.
Start With the Problem →The work can be strategic, technical, creative, analytical or hands-on.

Presidents & Boards
When leadership wants an independent perspective on markets, growth, technology, reputation or organizational choices.
Marketing Teams
When capable people need senior support, clearer priorities, specialized expertise or another pair of experienced hands.
Owners & Operators
When real operating constraints, customers, margins, staff and implementation matter more than consultant theater.
Technical Organizations
When the strategist needs to understand science, engineering, manufacturing, medicine or another difficult subject before simplifying the message.
Mission-Driven Organizations
When growth includes members, donors, visitors, patients, communities, participation, trust or social impact.
Use the level of involvement the problem actually requires.
Project / Contract
Focused strategy, audits, research, writing, architecture, campaigns, technical work or defined deliverables.

Board & Executive Advisory
Independent perspective, confidential support and senior judgment for leadership and consequential decisions.
Remote
Efficient for research, SEO, AI search, analytics, writing, positioning and recurring advisory work.
Hybrid
Remote for efficiency, with in-person sessions when launches, planning, workshops or relationships benefit from being together.
On-Site
Useful for boards, leadership teams, facilities, customer experiences, conferences, retreats and work where context is easier to see in the room.
Industry context changes what good growth strategy looks like.

I built the depth because sometimes somebody wants the very specific page about the very specific problem. But you do not have to find it first.
Tell me who you are, what the organization does, what is happening, what you want to happen instead and what you have already tried. If the question is unusual, complicated or does not fit neatly into one service, that is fine.
Sometimes calling or texting is simply faster than trying to reverse-engineer thousands of hours of website architecture.
