Best Children’s Book in Deland
As a bucket list item in 2014, I wrote and published my first book, 101 Awesome Things To Do with Your Child. I mailed a copy to various celebrities, influencers, and other people that I thought my enjoy the book and they did- enough to it was a #1 Best Seller in the Family Category for 9 months straight. It was covered in Huffington Post as the best book for families for a Father’s Day Gift and has received other accolades and social and public praises and allowed me to reinvest my royalties into creating and writing other works. I have recently written a short illustrated Christmas story- Albert, The Christmas Gorilla, specifically for children from split homes.
Would be honored if you checked my books out by clicking on their links below. These would make a great stocking stuffer for children living in Deland.

Best books for children in Jacksonville
Since “best” is such a subjective term, it is hard to qualify something as best. One measure is reviews and some of the reviews below are indicative of what people thought.
Wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated! A must have book for children with multiple parents and homes to travel to over the holidays!
This is an adorable book with charming illustrations and poetry (it rhymes). I got this to read with my step granddaughter. She loves bedtime stories. Although her parents are not divorced, she has playmates in this situation so I thought it was important for her to know that they are loved just as she is. I also chose this book because she loves animals, and Albert (the gorilla) is the star of the sweet little book. The book explains how Albert’s parents got a divorce, and he has to spend time in a hot climate with his mom and time in a cold climate with his father. Because he has to travel between two homes, Albert wonders what happens with his favorite holiday, Christmas. Where does Santa go? Which house does he visit? Albert ends up helping Santa with deliveries. He becomes a Christmas gorilla. There are some mishaps due to Albert’s size and clumsiness. He is an ape, after all. But all ends happily ever after, as it should be.
A lot of children can relate to Albert, a gorilla whose parents are divorced. It deals with a tricky subject for children, but is also entertaining and heartwarming. This book would make a nice addition to Christmas traditions.
